Join the cause for the paws!

Because we understand everyone is doing this during their precious free time, we are flexible and considerate of deadlines. We want to make volunteering for us as easy as possible. We have a year between releases to try and give us a comfortable timeline to work within. That being said, typically we ask for about a 2 week turn around on most work done on a story. You can see below just some of the volunteer work needed and a brief summary of their duties, but are always open to new ideas as well!

Alpha readers
This work involves reading stories before the editing process and giving authors suggestions on how to strengthen their work. 
Timeline: typically we appreciate 1 week-2 week deadline per story. You may sign up for as many stories as you like.

Proofreaders
This occurs after all editing has been done.  Proofreaders check to make sure there are no mistakes missed by the editors and authors.  Primarily, proofreaders should be looking for misused words, spelling & grammar errors, and typos that may have snuck under the radar previously.
Timeline: typically we appreciate a 1-2 week deadline per story.  You may sign up for as many stories as you like.

Line editing
This involves most of the technical aspects of writing, such as grammar, spelling, and structure. 
Timeline: we typically ask that editing is done within a 1-2 week timeline per story.  You may sign up for as many stories as you like.

Developmental editing
This involves story elements and making sure the plot runs smoothly.

Timeline: we typically ask that editing is done within a 1-2 week timeline per story.  You may sign up for as many stories as you like.

Visual media
In the past we have included art inside our anthology and would love to continue this tradition.  Original works are welcome as donations!  We cannot do color printing.  Those who love to create for social media content are also very welcome. We can always use help in creating new advertisements and engaging posts for our social media presence. 

Legal Help
Yes, we would love to have a lawyer or someone with international legal knowledge. Currently Google has been guiding our hands, but an official lawyer on our team would be greatly appreciated for those times we have serious questions!
